Bedford Square, spanning 125,000 square feet, is a mixed-use development located in the “Golden Triangle” of the downtown Main Street district of Westport.
This development involved an extremely complex and lengthy entitlement process, including a historic zoning district, flood zone constraints, and a multitude of abutting stakeholder issues.
The project features the adaptive reuse of the 100-year-old historic Bedford Mansion and firehouse, a 100-car underground parking garage, an internal central courtyard, and new retail and residential space on multiple levels.
This transformative mixed-use High Street project has breathed new life into multiple downtown developments around Bedford Square, igniting a resurgence in evening activity within the district.
