The new building will be 24,600 square feet with 8,000 square feet of retail and/or restaurant space on the street level and 16 residential units on the second and third floors. 47 Town Center Avenue is just one of several new projects in the new Big Sky Town Center. Recently completed buildings include and new grocery store and a medical center. For the new 47 Town Center Avenue Building, the street level will be 8,000 square feet, divisible into units as small as 1,200 square feet, for restaurant or retail tenants. On the second and third floors will be 16 residential units, 14, two-bedroom units and two, one-bedroom units.
The building will also include a basement which is unique in Big Sky, offering additional storage space for businesses and residences.
Ground work has begun on the new building with completion set for fall of 2016, in time for ski season. Adjacent to this building is expected to be a new office building with space for a café, coffee shop or retail business on street level.
