Asher Zelson

Asher joined Charter in 2024. Prior to joining Charter, Asher spent a year at WS Development, where he ran point on a project to bring a production microbrewery and accompanying taproom to market in the Greater Boston area. Asher modeled the operational, financial, and real estate strategies to get the facility off the ground, while also playing a key role in site selection and brewing team buildout. Asher then transitioned to an investment analyst role at Crocker Mountain Capital, a SFO (single family office) fund. During his year at Crocker Mountain, Asher carried out diligence on prospective VC and PE investments across a range of categories, originating deal flow with early and growth-stage companies. His fruitful time under the auspices of WS Development and Crocker Mountain afforded Asher the opportunity to gain critical insight into both commercial real estate and investment management.

Asher then pursued an opportunity at Stacks Bowers Galleries, the foremost rare coin and currency auction house in the country, where he tapped into his lifelong passion for collectibles. He worked in the firm’s Boston office for just shy of 2 years, sourcing and executing transactions of high-value coin collections, as well as cataloging and conducting research on some of the industry’s most prolific collectors and their treasures.

Asher is a graduate of Cornell University, and proudly reps the Big Red. He was born and raised in Connecticut and currently lives in NYC.
